pergentino in graz, march 2006
in the year 2006 i met pergentino the first and only time at the show in graz. i talked few words with his owner gianni. i noticed that both did not like the atmosphere in the hall or at this show so i made it short. but pergentino stayed in my mind, he impressed me.
later on i saw some offspring of pergentino and i always liked the hounds. mo, diva, mary, baboo and – last but not least – baruch. last year he sired another litter at mangialupi’s kennel.
so i was really shocked when i found pergentino in the category “yesterday’s” at the mangialupi homepage just one day after i read that his owner rosanna cigliani died in october! after rosanna’s dead pergentino stopped eating and followed her over the rainbow bridge soon.
