=> here is an article about carpal arthritis in dogs. an interesting secondary aspect is the vets observation that carpal arthritis is more often at dogs when the front dewclaw was removed!

now i would be interested in if it makes a different when the front dewclaw is taped. a taped claw can’t dig in and can’t work like the vet describes the function of the front dewclaw mainly at turns.
